I let go of my apartment in Lincoln Square. Why? For the bells and whistles of a new one. Because I was sick of crap water pressure and a bathroom that looked like it was straight out of some of the abandoned buildings I’ve been in. Because I wanted to feel like I was living in an apartment that wasn’t crumbling. Because it would be nice to be on the Red Line again. Because it seemed like it might be time for a change.
I know that it was the right decision, because it’s moving me forward. But, I will say this — Edgewater is much different than Lincoln Square. I miss The Square a lot. I miss my rabbits. But, as they say in my coffee club — more shall be revealed.
